010 - Aloft
"To our children we give two things - one is roots, the other wings."
- Hodding Carter
Unlike any other before or after, this Spiritile was inspired by the origins of Houston Llew. Houston's mother had a big hand in encouraging him to pursue art, introducing him to the master enamelist Zingaro and offering guidance whenever he felt stuck. Houston designed this tile and used its signature bird in his logo as a dedication to family giving you the roots to grow and the wings to succeed.
