Although I never considered myself an artist, I have always been interested in “making things.” I started working with wood in the 1980’s; cutting, milling and curing trees from the woods to create unique furniture that was both functional and beautiful. Formal training in toolmaking inspired me to expand into working with metal. My current works are kinetic metal sculptures which are meant to be hypnotic and calming.
